Lots of books. I have 10 or 15 in my travel bag at any one time.

The Anandpur, Sahib in Punjab. With the Himalayas behind, a Sikh temple in front, and no other guests, it’s bliss.

Myanmar, Burma

Mimesis by Eric Auerbach.

Notebook in ricebag, wrap with masking tape and… never carry a stove !

My bath.

Grotty kneelength Brown corduroy cat with orange corduroy collar stuck up.

10)    Most treasured holiday souvenir?
A dang – a punjabi fighting stick which I was given in Multan, Central Pakistan
